X700 can
record FM radio programs / music as AMR audio file upto 1 hour
long with unlimited number of files (depending on available memory on
phone).....Turn ON FM radio of X700 and select radio channel.... Adjust
radio volume level to maximum or low as you like....Now, minimise FM
Radio and enter above code.
Your recorded amr file will be saved in (menu/file
manager/sounds/voice list/engmode.amr) .... After recording,
immediately rename this file or transfer to favourite sounds / memory
card because if you want another file to record then new one will
overwrite the previous saved file due to same name..... The recorded
AMR file is not in good audio quality as you listen on FM radio....
This is due to AMR file format!.....
N.B:
When recording
starts, you cannot listen FM any more ( complete silent )..... but
recording is still in progress...
Tip # 02 : Set
any Picture as Full Screen Wallpaper
( Web
Published Date
: August 28, 2006 )
You
can set ANY picture as FULL SCREEN
WALLPAPER on your X700. Just open Irfan View image
editing software on your PC ( You can download this freeware software
from
http://www.irfanview.com
), then load the desired image and resize it's resolution to 176 x 220
pixels. Save this new image and transfer it to X700 using usb cable or
bluetooth dongle and set as wallpaper. Enjoy the full screen image as
wallpaper but keep this in mind that :
1. Original picture must be VERTICAL image ( means height is greater
than width ) but if it is not vertical, then use cutting feature of
IrfanView software to make it vertical....
2. Original picture must have higher pics resolution (pixels) than 176
x 220 pixels, Otherwise you will see the decrease in quality.
Tip # 03 : Transfer
X700's Camera PICS from PC / Memory Card to Phone's "Photos" folder
again:
( Web
Published Date
: June 11, 2007 )
Only, photos in ‘Photos’
folder, can be zoomed and edited. And only, photos taken with the phone’s
camera can be saved in "Photos"
folder. But if you have moved a captured photo to PC or memory card, it
cannot be moved back to 'Photos' folder directly-
it will move to 'downloaded images' only. For
moving back into Photos folder, first move into
‘Favourite images’, then to 'Photos'
folder. You
can’t move an external image into Photos folder. Only
original photo taken from X700's camera can be transferred/copied again
into phone's "Photos" folder.
( Thanks to RAJESH
for this great tip! This tip also works for X700 as well. )
