TIP # 01 : Reset
phone settings without using any password
As
you know that if you have
enabled the sim lock feature in X700, then you cannot use other sim
than the first one unless you enter the correct sim lock code
(password) on
startup of X700.... But incase you forgot the sim lock code or phone
lock code, then try this:
Switch off your mobile and remove the sim card .... Now restart your
mobile.... You will get "Insert SIM" message....
Just ignore it .... Now, enter this full reset code *2767*3855#
.... Wait some time.... Your mobile will automatically shut down and
restart by itself.... Now, again switch off your mobile and insert the
SIM card.... Switch 'ON' your mobile.... Your X700
will reset to factory settings....
You will lose internet wap, Email settings, bookmarks, FM radio
channels names, All pics in photos folder , favourite images, Phonebook
on phone's memory ( not in SIM card) and so on.... But it does not
delete any file present in your memory card....
But if you have locked the folders by password and forgot the password
then in standby mode, enter above full reset code.... Now, there is no
need to remove the SIM card....
