To turn off the keypad
tone, slide tone and power on/off tone TOGETHER,
press down volume-keys on the left side of the phone till zero, from
the MAIN SCREEN. This is the quickest, and is the right method, if you
want to keep ‘Theme’ as the dialing display font.
Also you can turn
off (or change) keypad tones (menu 9-4-2) power
on/off tone (menu 9-4-4) and slide tone (menu 9-4-5)
independently. Thereafter, pressing volume key will not affect the
corresponding tone.
If the keypad
tone menu in your phone is INACTIVE, go
to display settings…dialing display…font type and
change ‘theme’ to ‘normal’.
Then go back to keypad tone menu to turn off/change tone.
