Compare Samsung X700

Here you can see detailed comparison of Samsung X700 mobile with other mobiles of same class or NEAR to it's class.

Comparison With Nokia 6233 mobile :

It is not fair to compare X700 with Nokia 6233 since both are in different price / quality. The better comparison of Nokia 6233 will be with Samsung D600 since both have 2MP cameras, 2GB memory card support, full screen video playback, 240 x 320 pixels resolution. There is better video recording in 6233 along with FM radio but D600 has TV output for all kind of files and document viewer to view office / pdf files and much better security features than Nokia 6233 with slightly higher price (6233 @ 12,000 pak rupees / D600 @ 14,100 pak rupees / X700 @ 9,200 pak rupees) till September 16 , 2007.

I just compared X700 with 6233 on a request of some other mobile users. So, this is my comparison.

X700: You cannot view images/ videos in full screen mode... It can only zoom images if files are on phone's photo folder only.... But if you set any image as a wallpaper, then it will be displayed as full screen but not landscape mode!

It has standard 1100mAh Li-Po battery lasts for about 48 hours with normal usage. Having 64 channels polyphonic ringtones with mp3 support. It has no copy feature for files, only move file to other folders. FM stereo radio with 20 channels ( visual radio is broadcast dependent) works on background also. It can record calls to available free memory and caller/receiver can listen the beep every 5 seconds which is bad. It cannot record FM radio programs. You cannot adjust display settings for brightness / backlight time out. You cannot rewind/ forward the video files since it is only available for audio files (looks not good at all). It supports themes and you can download new themes from net. It's firmware v 3.7 has some serious bugs . Upgrade to v 4.7 for better usage.
X700: It has standard 900mAh Li-ion battery lasts for about 36 hours with normal usage. Having 40 channels polyphonic ringtones with mp3 support. It has copy / move feature for files. FM stereo radio with 30 channels works on background also. It can record calls/ FM radio programs upto 1 hour with no beeps sound which is good . You can rewind/ forward both the audio and video files easily! You can adjust display settings for brightness/ backlight time out... even you can turn dim backlight “OFF”. It supports skins but you can't download new skins.

So, both phones have some advantages / disadvantages .... and Nokia 6233 is good for multimedia ( except not support for rewind / forward the video file) and for security features, Samsung X700 is impressive.... So, it's all depends on users which features they will be preferred!
